Reading Circles

We have absolutely loved reading our war themed novels in our Reading Circles groups.
It has motivated and inspired us all to read more.  We have recognised the importance of reading, the value and pleasure that can be gained in reading and how enjoyable it is to discuss and share our views about novels.
As a class we are keen to do reading circles again next term.

Primary Maths Challenge

This week the Primary 7 and primary 6's took part in the National Primary Maths Challenge.  There were 25 problem solving questions involved in the paper.  All pupils tried there very best and used all their strategies to solve each problem.
Well done to our pupils who recieved Gold, Silver and Bronze for their results.

Here is an example of one of the questions:

She works from 8.59am to 5.01pm.
How many biscuits does she eat each day?

Cine Bus

We were privileged to have the opportunity to watch the amazing movie,  Lucky Break
at the Cine Bus this week.
It taught us about Disability Hate Crime and that we all have Rights.  It was very interesting and insightful.
